[Review] Patuno Resort, Wakatobi

Well it's been a while since my journey to Wakatobi, but it's not late to write the review right? ƪ(‾ε‾“)ʃ

I stayed at Patuno Resort when i was at Wakatobi.

There're only 2 big resort with professional (and international) diving instructur.

They're Wakatobi Resort and Patuno Resort.

Patuno Resort was located in Wangi-wangi island. You only need 5-10 minutes to get there from the airport by car.

The resort provided shuttle service, you just needed to contact them and told them to pick you up.

The Restaurant

A bridge in front of the restaurant. You can find some chairs there and relaxing while enjoying the wind and the scenery

The resort itself is clean and the staffs are friendly.

The service is great too - the room service and the restaurant service.

But somehow, they lack the skill of communication and management between up front staff and the diving staff.

You have to make sure 2-3 times to the up front staff and the diving staff before you go to sleep and dream about your next day's activities (regarding diving and snorkling).

You can go and play at the beach everyday because the beach is in front of the resort. You can eat your breakfast and lunch while looking at the beach. Totally beautiful.

They provide exclusive (VIP), deluxe and standart room - and provide them in cottage form.

Every cottage have 2 different room. It's like 1 house divided by 1 big wall into 2 rooms. 

As for the VIP room, they have the rooms at different spot from deluxe and standart room.

The deluxe and the standart room are in the same spot.

But every room can access the beach 24 hours/day.

As for me, my parents booked 1 deluxe cottage (2 rooms).

The price is around 800,000-850,000 IDR i'm not sure about the exact price.

When you enter the room, this is what you see.

The bathroom - pretty big

The bed is pretty big and soft. So comfortable.

You need to pay for additional bed if you're more than 2 person and decided to stay at one room. Every day you will get charged 300,000 IDR per bed.

Facilities:

★ Restaurant

★ Private and clean room with bathroom inside

★ VIP room

★ AC & TV in every room

★ Diving Centre

★ Beach - semi private i think since i only saw the resort guest played around.

★ Wi-Fi (can only be accessed at the Lobby)

Service:

★ Room Service & House Keeping

★ Laundry - they provide the fee

★ Diving (course and trial) - they provide the oxygen

★ Snorkling

★ City Tour

★ Dolphins Sight Seeing

★ Banana Boat

★ Jetski

OH!

Before you go, you need to book the resort around 2 weeks before to make sure the resort is not full yet for the date.

Don't forget to ask for the package trip. You will save some money if you book for the package trip in Patuno. I learnt it from my previous stay. (∏ ù ∏)

I have to spend 300-500,000 IDR more because i didn't know there's package trip.

My rates are: 

★★★★☆ (4 out of 5 stars).

Even though they lacked on the communication and management,

their staffs, place, service and facilities are excellent!

Totally worthed to come back for another sunburn (―˛―“), snorkling and diving! Haha..

You won't get bored or tired when you can see beautiful coral, fishes, and sea snakes!

I met 2 sea snakes and watched one of them swim to the surface to breath. So fascinating! Just like the one in Animal Planet or Discovery Channel. LOL~
