dreamy trip

A Night Out in Parma

8:56:00 pm

Hello, my dear readers! I know all of us have at least one place we want to go so badly. Some of us called it my dream country or city. As for me who loves to see different culture and places, travelling around the world became my lifetime dream. If you ask me which country I love the most, my answer would be Japan. But this is not about Japan since I'm going to move there next week.

This time let's think about a place with interesting historical story and culture, amazing food, and pretty architectural building. It was famous for it's prosciutto, art, cheese, music, and architecture. Can you guess what it is?

Yeah, of course I'm talking about a city in Italy. It's Parma. Have you heard it?
I myself knew about the city just recently, when I was reading about a trip review of Instanbul, Turkey. A picture of middle age castle-like building caught my eyes and I couldn't stop myself clicking the link. I instantly became interested and searching a little bit about the city.

After I read a little about the place, there're things I want to do if I have a chance to visit Parma - this is my kind of travelling.

I always wanted to travel around autumn or spring, since it wouldn't be as hot and humid as Jakarta. So well, it would be wonderful to go here around autumn or spring. That way, I can wear my sweater or coat over my shirt, or do the layering! It would be fun to do some mix and match during my trip! And it would be good to wear my boots on the season ♡

Cathedral of Parma

First I want to go to the historical places, like the castle (Bardi Castle of Torrechiara, Rocca Sanvitale of Fontaneliato, and so on), the museum (Chamber of Saint Paul and St. Catherine's cell, costantinian Museum of the Steccata, and so on). Not to forget to visit the churches.. ;)
There, I can see the architecture with my own eyes and admiring the fine design. In the same time, it would be best to hear about the story from the local guide about the history ♡

Second I want to taste the local food! Look at those delicious looking food! Nom~nom~nom~
Beside the delicious food, I believe the breakfast/lunch/dinner time can give you time to get to know the local people. You can learn a little bit of their culture on the dining table. Just go to the local restaurant and get to know some local people! :D Once upon a time, my friend taught me about this tips! :D

However, I don't understand Italian language. It would be better if I knew the language, or have someone who understand the language. But what if I don't have that someone to accompany me? Normally I would use the body language or english. LOL~ But it's not the case now, since there's this amazing translation application, Smartling! This way I don't have to worry about the language differences! \(^ワ^)/   Smartling provides translation service and mobile application for our busy schedule! We don't have to worry about the sudden need of translator since they can manage it! You can download the application from your mobile (Android and iOS).

Website Review - WigsBuy

10:02:00 pm

Fashion world never walked seperately from beauty world. They basically walked hand by hand. You will never see a model or street fashionista without a touch of make-up, nail art, or hairdo, right? They compliment each other. They keep spreading their wings to complete the fashion world. Not only make-up or nailart tools, now they have produce a lot of hairclip and wig type. Nowdays hairclip and wig are common to be found or to be used. You will find some bloggers using them as well.

Not only that, hairclip and wig really help a lot of people a lot. You name it, cosplayer, blogger, and even common people. You can change your hairstyle and hair color in an instant! How good is that? If we took years back, wigs and hairclip were not as good as nowdays. The type was limited too. But now, you can choose the country origin, the type, the color - everything!

As someone who loves to change hairstyle and hair color, I found wig as one of my favorite option. I don't have to go to salon frequently or damage my hair. I only need to put a wig based on what I want for the day. That's why I've been checking out some of website that sell wig.

WigsBuy is one of my favorite!

These two are my favorite!

Hello again, everyone! How are you! \(≧∇≦)/
I was pretty busy last week so I didn't update my blog. I made this post as compensation though.

Anyway, I feel restless lately due to some problems. I can't tell much since it's private,
but I'm glad to have friends beside me. They are all awesome! (ˆ⌣ˆ)

Okay, I want to confess. Haha. Not the private problem though.
I'm going to move to Tokyo in two weeks, that's why I'm so busy.
I'm in the process of finising my student visa and in searching for apartment or maybe share house.

I'm busy making some appointment with my long lost friends (senior and junior high school friends),
finishing the document from ESMOD Jakarta,
making some skirts for my sister and cousins,
and learning Japanese.

Wish me luck there, okay!

I'm going to leave my comfort zone here,
my family, and my friends.
Somehow it made me sad, but excited in the same way.

Well, I always wanted to try living by my own, working part-time,
and live at Japan.
Now I'm granted my childhood dreams and I'm going to use it rightfully.

I'm gonna miss all of my family and friends,
but I believe there're a lot of good things waiting for me there. >:) *speaking of being optimistic*

In this ocassion, I want to personally thank God for all His doing,
my parents for letting me go and believe that I can do better,
my siblings and cousins for being there supporting me whenever I'm confused,
my teachers who always help me with my study difficulties (I'm not the best student out there, but I'm glad you guys always so patient with my stuborness and stupidness),
and finally my friends who's been my place to cry on, to be crazy and dumb, to voice out all my desperation.
You guys rock! :D

Really, I'm thankful to have you guys, specially KUTU, my forever soulmates, and my siblings and cousin. :)

"We are born to fulfill our roles in the world. On our way, our path crossed.
Some of us might stay for a while and then continue their own path,
but few of us decided to walk on our own path hand in hand,
so we won't be seperated.
And that few are us, soulmates."

Hype me here:

See you again soon!

Japan Trip 2014

1:42:00 am

Have I told you that I love Japan to the extend I can't seem get enough with what the country offer. Since my first visit on 2012, I always want to go back to Japan every year. I've been there for winter, spring, and summer holiday. Yes, I got my chance to spend this year's summer holiday at Tokyo and Kawaguchi-ko for 7 days.

This year though, I didn't go there for a mere holiday trip. I was checking out my probably-soon-to-be-school there. Together with my little sister, we have an amazing adventure at Tokyo and Kawaguchi-ko (beside checking out the school, i had task to accompany my youngest sister to walk around Tokyo and Kawaguchi-ko).

We merely go to places I have been visited on 2013, like Asakusa-Harajuku-Ginza-and so on, but to my excitement, my sister and I always found a new area that I haven't go through when I visited Japan last year -and it excited me. (• ˆ⌣ˆ •)

Maybe because of our laidback personality and attitude, we didn't find some major problems that lead to us fighting. We did get lost for more than we could count, but well, we just had fun. We both don't like to start up meaningless fight over meaningless problem, so I think she's the best partner to go travelling together. :D haha.

Even though I said it was for summer holiday, they haven't reach the peak of the summer yet in the last week of July, so my sister and I still feel like we're in Puncak. I thought we should be fine with one layer clothes, but we're proved wrong. We need our jacket whereever we go. >__< Well, I'm glad I didn't have to walk around in the peak of summer heat like now in August. :P So lucky me! LOL~

Let's just go to the photos spam. . .

Asakusa - Sensoji Temple

It's my youngest sister who usually took my photos for the blog.

Meiji Shrine

Yebisu Garden Place

 Tokyo Tower - Zojoji Temple

Ginza

The intersection was closed and restricted only to pedestrians that day.

With my sister.

All the delicious food . . .

Kawaguchi-ko - Fuji-Q Highland

Their local food - it's extremely huge portion.

It was a short trip, but personally I'm satisfied with all the adventure we had. :D I'm looking forward for another trip to Japan. *cross-my-fingers*

Okay then! See you again soon!
