Quick Gateaway to Nikko

1:26:00 am

Hi guys! I knew I have been to Nikko like a month ago and have promised you about this post, but I didn't find a good time to post it (what a bad blogger). Yep, I went there in Oct or Nov. Haha.. *feeling guilty*

But.. but.. but.. Here I gave you the post.. :D They got some pretty spot with momiji leaves everywhere~ :D

The lake

The truth is, I was pretty lazy to go since I had to get up at 6am (and it was freezing in Nikko). I was overslept and almost missed the train. LOL~ Thanks God I made it.. I met a lot of new friends there, most are foreigners. They're all kind.. Hope we can go to together again...

They got a pretty waterfall there~

After we finished our free time, we went down to take some picture of their famous bridge, Shinkyo Bridge, and walked around the Rinnoji Temple. Here the picture of the beautiful places.

We went to the Japanese Garden while we were at the Rinnoji Temple. They got a beautiful lightning when it got dark...

Momiji~

My trip was officially ended after finished my tour at the Japanese Garden. They still have a lot of good place, so I will go there again next time.. :D

See you again soon!

How I see life

4:30:00 pm

こんにちは、みんなさん!元気ですか?(ˆ⌣ˆ)
Time flies so fast, at least for me it flies so fast.
In a week, I'll be living in Japan for 2 months.

For a while, I've been thinking a lot about life.
It's because of my friend's facebook status. From his status, I realized that somehow, Japan is not as perfect as I thought before.
There're things I wholeheartedly disagree.
One of them is that their life seems to be driven by the money issue.

I fully realized that we need money in order to survive, to live.
But it's not the only one that made us alive.
There are a lot of things to make us happy even though we don't have enough money.

You know, Coco Chanel once said that the best things in life usually are free. The second best is the extremely expensive one.

So yes! The best things life offers are always free.
Family and friendship are one of the example.

If you let go of your family and friends in order to chase for money,
in the end you will feel empty and alone.
What's the use of piles of money when you don't have anyone to share it with?
To spend it for?

Money will always be money,
but family and friends will always grow and give you happiness.
They fill you up inside.
They will be there for you whenever you need them, caress you when you're down,
support you in your lowest state, and they're happy for you when you achieved your goal.

I know very well how hardworking Japanese people are, but it's too much.
They tend to overwork themselves.
I was surprised to know their working hour is from 9AM to 8PM, and most of them don't go home before 11PM or 12AM.
A real contrast from Indonesian people. We only work from 8-9AM to 5PM,
and most of us go home right after 5PM (if we don't have to work overtime).

Hey! If you spend all your day in the office, when will you spend your time with your spouse and children? When will you have time for yourself?

I think maybe it's one of the reason why the divorce rate is so high here in Japan,
and the needs to be married and have children are getting low and low.
One thing leads to other things. It's the law of our nature. What we are now is a product of what we did in the past.

My family also think that money is important in order to survive,
but luckily, it's not my parents priority in life now. They still have time to spend with us, even though they're super busy everyday. But before we reached what we are now, they were similiar to Japanese people. I barely saw them when I was a kid. That's why I despised working.

They also made me despise money a little. I can't truly hate money since I still need it in order to survive, right? LOL~
But they made me realized, I have so much more in this life than just money.

Once you find that your life purpose is beyond money, you saw things differently.
You can focus to your emotional, spiritual, and psychological growth,
your surroundings, other people's needs, world peace, and many more.

You're more easily became content of what you have, you're grateful of what God gave you,
you don't see your problems as something overly awful (yeah, it's still awful, but you feel stronger to face it), and you know in the end of the day, you will always have something you can say thanks for and feel blessed.

You just don't focus solely on yourself anymore.

What about you? What do you think about life?
Please share it with me!

One Fine Day

11:58:00 pm

Hello again! I hope you're not bored with my frequent updates! :D
This time I want to share some moments of my 'me time' two weeks ago.

There won't be any outfit post here, because my sole purpose was to share this short gateaway from the world.

p.s. there will be photos spam

Okay, I was excited to know it's November. I heard the leaves began to change their color on November. And it was true! On my first week of November, I went to Meiji-Jinja and Yoyogi koen at Harajuku.

The leaves were not fully changed to yellowish-red color, but they began to show the sign of changing.
Beside the color changing leaves, I really love the quiet environment at Kiyomasa-Ido. Being an introvert, I like it when I have an alone time at a quiet environment. I felt like it's just me, the nature, and God.

After Kiyomasa-Ido, I went to Yoyogi koen. It was beside the Meiji Jinja. But before I exited Meiji Jinja, I accidentally met these three lovely lady. I fall in love in the first sight and couldn't resist the urge to take a photo of them. So, I asked the mother if I'm allowed to take a photo of all of them. :)

---

Next is Yoyogi koen.

At the park, I was enthralled by the pretty colors of the tree. Some of them already showed autumn colors. It was pretty so I took a lot of pictures here ♡

It was pretty crowded when I came. There're family, couples, groups of friends hang out together, and some group of young people practicing or taking photoshoots. There were also people brought their pet(s) for a walk.

I think the park is perfect for a date, no? :D

There was one thing that surprised me. When I was about to cross the small brigde, a big crow was sitting at the edge of the bridge. It was so calm. When I was about to take a picture of it, suddenly it turned its head towards me and began to hop towards me.

It stopped after our distance was about 15-20 cm. \(≧∇≦)/
It was calm even when I took the photos. How lovely ♡ !! I never been so close to a wild bird before, specially a big one like the crow. (≧∇≦)

And no, I don't zoom in my camera.

When I was walking leisurely at the park -enjoying myself of the pretty trees around me-, I heard some noises outside the park. There's a festival just right beside the park, so I decided to drop by before I went back home.

They sold a lot of stuff, from food, souvenirs, to clothes. There're some country booth too, like Korean, Thailand, and Chinese booth. They sold things like kimchi, Thai food, and so on..

It was nice to see that Tokyo began to change color. I was content that week. It was perfect.
The next day was a public holiday so I decided to go to Kawagoe. I have saved some photos for the post, so please stay tune! ;)

See you next week!
